Climate Change Indicators Dashboard
The Climate Change Indicators Dashboard is an international statistical initiative led by the IMF's Statistics Department (STA). It addresses the growing need for climate-related data in macroeconomic and financial stability analysis. Designed in cooperation with other IMF departments and international organizations, the Dashboard aims to be a comprehensive source for indicators on:
- Climate change: Including greenhouse gas emissions from economic activity.
- Trade: Specifically, trade in environmental goods.
- Finance: Focusing on green finance initiatives.
- Government policies: Related to climate action.
- Risks: Both physical risks (e.g., extreme weather events) and transition risks (e.g., policy changes).
