IMF Data Add-in for Excel

We are finalizing an IMF Data Add-in for Excel which will be available in the Microsoft Store. Once available, this add-in can be downloaded and used for free. The add-in will give you access to the same datasets as on the IMF Data Portal and will enable you to retrieve and/or refresh the data in your worksheets without needing to go to the portal. Check back for add-in availability and instructions on how to install. 

Key Features

• Access data from multiple datasets, including options to filter based on dimensions such as country and indicator
• Retrieve data into Excel, including ability to set time periods, data orientation, and options for formatting retrieved data
• Refresh all or subset of latest data into worksheets, including options to highlight changes since the last retrieval
